Tom Matsumoto PTA welcomes you to the 2023-2024 school year!

For only $25 you can JOIN PTA today! PTA is a partnership composed of parents, teachers, and the community.

Our PTA staff is thrilled for this school year to begin. Last year, we were able to to provide many fun opportunities for the children. PTA created our own school site pumpkin patch which the lower grades were able to take a “field trip” to and other students were given the opportunity to visit during their lunch break. Students played a few games, took a fall themed photo and were given a pumpkin and small goodie bag to take home!

In the winter, PTA created a drive thru holiday light event on campus. You were able to drive through the school, tune into our holiday radio station, and watch the holiday lights twinkle by.

PTA invited Cheza Nami for the staff and students to experience African dance and drumming. We also had multiple cultural dance performances and Family Fun Nights throughout the year. Our biggest assembly was provided by the students for the students! Our Lunar New Year assembly. Our dancers performed Indian, Afghan, Vietnamese, Mexican dance routines and finished off with Chinese lion dancers.

However you decide to PTA is up to you and ultimately an investment in your child. PTA to support your child’s teachers and curriculum, while building stronger school-home partnerships. Be a volunteer to build and celebrate a stronger, more diverse and inclusive school community across all neighborhoods. Be an advocate on the issues impacting your child and affect change at the local, state or national level. Be a financial contributor to assist in funding all essential academic, health and wellness programs. There’s no wrong way to PTA.

Funds raised will be used towards classroom supplies and technology, academic resources for both our teachers and students.
