YEARBOOK COVER DESIGN CONTEST

Submit all your artwork for a chance to win the yearbook cover design contest! Guidelines for submission:

  • Paper must be 8.5 x 11
  • Portrait style
  • ½ border on all edges
  • Artwork should be in color (color pencils/markers)

HOLIDAY TREES AND WREATHS ARE ON THEIR WAY

Thank you to the families who have ordered a tree, wreath, or garland, and donated to the troops. Your Christmas tree will be here Friday 12/2!  

IN PERSON pick-up will be on campus at Matsumoto near the kinder lot on Friday, December 2 between 2-5 pm. All orders have been finalized. We are unable to make adjustments, or place new orders, nor do we have extra trees for sale.

Please communicate in advance if you need assistance. Any unclaimed items will be donated to local families in need. 
We will need volunteer assistance to chainsaw tree trunks and help distribute the trees. Sign Up to volunteer here. 

PEDICAB RIDES AVAILABLE

Take a Pedicab ride to see the Holiday lights of Willow Glen

We anticipate this to sell out and pedicabs are by “reservation only”

Purchase tickets here Eco City Cycles is excited to offer Willow Glen Christmas Lights open-air pedicab tour rides for the 2022 holiday season for Matsumoto Families! 

A pedicab ride is a fun and up-close way to experience the sights and sounds of the holidays!

Book your reservation for 40 minutes which includes 10 minutes for boarding and 30 minutes for the tour of some of the Bay Area’s greatest holiday displays.

Tours cost $35 per person. Children 5 and under ride for free and do not need a ticket!

All pedicabs travel together “caravan style” during each tour. We will do our best to move any late arrivals to the next time slot but cannot guarantee availability and offer no refund for late arrivals.NO RECEIPT IS REQUIRED TO BOARD

Opportunity # 1

If you have any availability this week upon pick up to stay and help transform the cafeteria for the Fantasy of Lights event, please sign up today. We need 2-4 volunteers each day. 

Opportunity # 2

Two volunteers to help offload Christmas trees at Andrew Hill High School this Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 6 am, and then help the PTA transport trees back to Matsumoto for distribution on Friday. This is about a 2-hour commitment. 

 Opportunity # 3

One volunteer with a chainsaw to help cut trunks on 14 Christmas trees on Thursday after school. Anytime that works for the volunteer. 

 Opportunity # 4

One volunteer to help distribute Christmas trees on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 2 pm – 5 pm at Matsumoto. 

 Opportunity # 5

Distribute four trees to Matsumoto families on Friday, December 1, 2022, between 2 pm – 5 pm.
