We are so excited to be ramping up for the school year. We are looking for Matsumoto community members to help us create wonderful memories for our children. We have a few roles to help our members be more involved.
Project Cornerstone - Readers

Do you enjoy reading to children? Would you like to be involved in your child’s school life and make a positive impact in the classroom? Here is a unique volunteer opportunity to do that.
Project Cornerstone is a community initiative, led by YMCA of Silicon Valley, with the mission to create an environment where all adults support youth so they grow up to be healthy, caring, and responsible adults. This year, the theme is Inclusion, around which a set of books and materials have been designed. As a parent volunteer, you would be trained on this curriculum, and you would then read a book to the class once a month and facilitate an activity to reinforce the concept of Inclusion.
